Dear Members of the ASPMC
As intern for the Society, I’d like to welcome you to our new website! We’re trying to modernize and reach broader audiences, and we hope this foray into the digital realm will help us communicate our research and mission to the general public.
To those of you who are a little skeptical about this method of communication—astral projection is often the preferred method, after all—I ask that you give this website a chance! With it, we can easily integrate videos, audio, images and more, to create a richer experience of the magical environment around us, and more importantly, build community as passionate magizoologists and naturalists!
And of course, the existence of this website in no way diminishes the other work we’re doing at the Society. We hope that you continue to join us at one of our migratory dragon observation walks at the Hemenway Estate and Magical Wildlife Sanctuary, at the annual Charybdis Lecture at the Boston Public Library, at our biennial exhibitions in the Secret Wing of the Harvard Museum of Natural History, and all our other events. I promise that this website is but one more of the myriad steps the ASPMC takes to preserve our magical ecosystem.
Sincerely,
Jesse Herusatuskin,
Intern, American Society for the Protection of Magical Creatures
