“I’ve heard of the Sarmaya's famous collection of Gond art. I wonder if the BL was once painted in this style? When I opened the pages of this journal entry, I found a loose card, featuring a translucent grid of colors - reminiscent of paint swatches. Strangely, the top row is blank... I believe that's where the paint source usually is written, aligned to the far left. And Dr. Mandrakeseeker's entries, while very colorful, seem a bit jumbled in parts.”

HINTS

Hint 1

On the Sarmaya’s page about the Gond art style, one section in particular is relevant to this puzzle.

Hint 2

The “Colour Swatches from a Forest” section of the Sarmaya page contains six colors that are used in Gond art, with names of the natural source for each.

Hint 3

Do you notice any particularly strange words or phrases in the journal entries? A Gond color source name is hiding in each paragraph, but as Jesse notes, they may be jumbled.

Hint 4

A few adjacent words in each paragraph are an anagram of a Gond color source. For instance, “cud gown” (in the final paragraph) is an anagram of cow dung.

Hint 5

Drag the color card around so each anagrammed color name is left aligned in the blank top row. For each, which color should you look under?

Hint 6

A six-word phrase clues a punny two-word final answer.

FINAL ANSWER (SPOILER!)

The answer is PULP FRICTION.
